13 september 2010, its 4 in the morning when i receive the news......

that my dad is in a better place now........

MY DAD- being a father of 4 including me myself, always had been strict to his children. My dad is the type who never show his love towards his children, but we siblings knows that he loves us very very much. He treat all of us fairly, no special treatment is allowed =), thats my dad's way.

On the day of the funeral, i just realize what a great man he is, various people from different places visit him as well as those big shots like YBs and Datos. Drifferent race, different colors, different religion, all visit him, missing him, saying is a great loss. A great achievement he had. Giving charity to people who in need of it, especially in rural areas, being in so many organizations, president of so many association.

I SALUTE, I RESPECT AND I LOVE YOU, DAD.

Please do cherish your love ones...... love them as if the world has come to an end.

Do pray for him =)

At last, a campus feeling!!!!!!!!!!!! wakakakaka, well, the new campus is great, but the problem is that i think is a bit too rushing to move to the new campus, this is because the campus is only half prepared for the students, 1st week, the air-cond breakdown, next, the location of the class is all mixed up and etc....

but at least the kitchen is big enough.....

The cafeteria on the other hand provided such expensive food, we are students!!!!! we dont have financial incomes........... sigh.... such food......

My mum: i cant...i need to wait for pak guan ( my bro, who is currently in NZ) to call him at 2am because he is having his exam the next day(despite the 4 hour difference between here and NZ, my mum is willing to wait for my brother, just to wish him luck)

me: what!? no need la ma, you go sleep 1st, since you have to wake up so early the next morning....

My training at Urban Picnic was torturing and wonderful, a good place for internship. At 1st i thought that it was torturing.... day by day, tired and exhausted. Then one day i realize this process made me a different person, i learn to be tough when it comes hardships. In order to be tough, you have to learn it the hard way. There was never an easy way out.

Kakak Nora and Chef Ray taught me alot, and also Vera (who is not up there in the pic). They gave me laughter, taught me patience, and gave me inspiration. Now 6 weeks passed, and i am transferring to Cuisine Studio (6 weeks more), i hope i can be strong and go through this as fun as possible.

Thanks for everyone gave me advise and supported me ^^. Thanks Guys! especially my mum ^^

Having my internship at this two place, 5 days at urban picnic and 1 day at cuisine studio. Cuisine Studio is the main place, urban picnic is just a branch. Food at this two place is like damn expensive. Not a bad place to save up your money and eat here. Cuisine studio presents traditional french cuisine.

I am currently a bit suffering because of one of the staff..... torturing me!!!!!!!

But thou must never give up!!!!!! Be optimistic and move forward......

Went to FHM, a Malaysian culinary exposure, competition and also an exhibition. An exposure which brought my view towards culinary to another level.

Lots and lots of people look down on culinary students. We as students, felt offended.

A "smelly, dirty and EXCITING" birthday in 17th floor Mentari court in KL, As the clock strikes 12 on 11th August 2009.... i was nervous, thinking if they remember....

Waited for half an hour. it seems like i am safe (NOT), went out a while saw only Firman and Roy talking..... seems like nothing.... well, after ten minutes, i just realize i was surrounded.... one by one stood there.

Try to run away, but.... got caught. It was such a wonderful experience.......

The other guy, Yefta, hopefully spelled right, was caught last minute, a companion sharing the same birthday.... small world

All this pictures was taken just nearby my place, only one small place with such situations, what more to say other areas. Pollution and littering is getting worse day by day.

The movie Wall-E gave a good example on what will happen in future if this goes on.

One of my lecturer told me, that if this goes on, we will be in a living hell of rubbish on earth. Help!!!!!!! Please make an effort to prevent this.

The food in Pizza Hut sucks!!!!! I expected more than that. Me, Howard, Andre, Andri, and Dhanny went to Subang Parade for shopping, and we had our dinner at Pizza Hut.

I thought the food there was good but it was worse than what i had expected. Especially the cinnamon, it is as hard as rubber. Andre was so desperate that he even dip the cinnamon in pepsi just to soften it.

But i admit the service was good..... they always serve with a smile... ^^

had a restaurant service with a chinese environment. We DC 32 Group 4 decorated the restaurant to give a homey feeling..... And it works ^^. Serving Chinese cuisine.....

The boys actually took more picture than the girls..... cant believe that, we actually love to take picture than the girls.... but cant blame the girls, not many girls compare to guys in my group. Thanks to our manager, Beh Pei Yi, and Erwin, the service was a success!!!!!!!!

Met Amelia at KLCC, she followed me with the people i just met.Although just an hour, we manage to talk a lot about everyone who is back in Miri, and who is currently in KL. I am happy that i can meet her that time. Since she will be back in Miri tomorrow. So might as well spend time with her while i have the chance.

Great people i met from Bandung which is located in Indonesia, they were a wonderful family. One of them is going to study here. So while everyone came, they wanted to visit KLCC. I was about to go KLCC to meet Amelia Chia who just came back from US. Then Uncle James ask Steven to bring these people to KLCC. So end up we went there together.

They paid for our tickets, and food. Steven guide them while i ask for directions. Steven is the tour guide and i am the assistant. A wonderful experience with such humble family.

Mum's 51st birthday, only a few dishes on the table with 'Mee Sua' as the main dish. Eating 'Mee Sua' which means longevity in chinese culture. As we believe, it prolongs your life. We have to eat the noodle during our birthday.

How i wish my bro who is currently in NZ, and my sis who is currently in KL, were here. Miss them so much.

As for my mum, she was smiling the whole day even when she was working. I was surprised the way she acted as we cant really celebrate her birthday. We only celebrated after her work which is at 11.30pm, furthermore, there was no cake presented and SHE IS STILL SMILING!!!!!

When you have "one of a kind name", people tend to make fun of your name, especially when your name is mispronounced. So when you make fun of someone's name, you are offending the beholder of that particular name.

Like me, never like it. my name was something to make fun of. it hurts, seriously. felt it. but to those who felt the same way as i do, appreciate it, because your parents give you that name as it has a purpose.

As for mine... i was told that it has a story to it, from my father's ancestor's generation passed down to his..... without my name, the story wont go on. There is no continuation......

we had dinner at Memphis bistro, is was expensive but it was worth it. Will eat it once in a blue moon. Cant describe hows the taste, need to try it your self. For your information, the chef was a personal chef to the owner of the Genting Highland. Sometimes he likes to go out to talk to his guest and asking comments on his food. So you always have the chance to meet him. Try the food and enjoy the taste. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT. trust me.

i met someone.... a friend of mine. So called friend, and i notice one thing about this person. This person seem honest in front of me and kind a normal. Seems like good friend. But the problem is that this person tends to hurt my feeling in front of others, whenever i am around some other groups or gang, this persons likes to make fun of me in front of them, JUST TO GET CLOSE WITH THEM.... it hurts because i take them as friends.... and i mean seriously... i am not being all emo here but i am just talking on behalf of those who had the same situation as me... and i dont hate this person... because someday there will be a lesson learned. help each other even during a heavy down pour

i was amazed by this two brothers, they were trying to cross the road under the heavy rain, it was a heavy down pour, with both such small bodies trying to move their gigantic bike through the rain (trust me, they are very small size, as if the wind can blow them away)..... from what i see, i saw that they are struggling crossing the road, this scene taught me something, sometimes we may felt lonely, but your friends and families are always there to be with, to break obstacles ahead. because of this wonderful scene, i learn to appreciate my brothers and sister more......

This is Carbonet Saugvinon 2006, its a very thick red wine

A group of us went for a wine tasting course, we drank about 6 types of wine, although it is only 6 types, it is quite heavy on us, we still manage to have fun and stay awake.... it was fun though... 6 types of wine are Chardonnay, Frontignae Spaltese, Rose, Carbonet Saugvinon 2006 and 2007, and last but not least Shiraz....
